about me

My name is David Fleet, I am a 28 year old 3D Artist living and working in London.

I hope you enjoy my website, I am very passionate about what I do and hope it shows in my work. I specialise in modelling, texturing, matte painting, lighting/rendering and compositing, so basically, a bit of everything.

I originally trained in traditional technical illustration, which required spending many hours with a pencil in hand, also a bit of computer work too. I naturally fell into 3D when I was lucky enough to land my first job working at RealtimeUK in Lancashire,  who do some truly amazing work with some very talented artists. It was there that I learnt to work really hard and operate as an all-rounder, something that is a little more difficult to accomplish in London.

I started my London life working as a 3D lead/supervisor at Nexus Productions, an amazing studio producing some really creative and challenging work. I spent two and a half years creating all manner of commercials.

I am now a lead artist at The Mill, a world renowned, Oscar-winning visual effects company, based in Soho. It’s a great place to work, lots of variety and some really talented guys to work with.
